With more than 20 years of experience in luxury hotel operations, McWeeny returns to Hotel Commonwealth to lead the property, drawing upon his earlier success as Director of Operations, when he played a pivotal role in establishing the hotel as the #1-ranked property in Boston and the #6 luxury hotel in the U.S. on TripAdvisor.

McWeeny's distinguished career spans renowned properties on both coasts. Most recently, he served as General Manager at Boston Park Plaza, where he successfully led a team of over 500 employees and earned the hotel 4-Diamond status for six consecutive years. His career also includes key leadership roles at the Beverly Hills Hotel and Ritz-Carlton Boston Common.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, McWeeny holds a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Travel & Administration. He is deeply passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences and building high-performing teams that consistently deliver exceptional service.
