USA, Sedona, Arizona. July 08, 2025

Amara Resort and Spa is proud to announce the appointment of Robin Harrington as its new Spa Director. In her new role, Harrington will oversee all aspects of spa operations, including staff leadership and training, treatment and wellness programming, guest experience enhancements, retail curation, and strategic revenue growth. With nearly two decades of experience in the spa and wellness industry, she is a seasoned leader with expertise in spa management, product formulation, and holistic wellness.

Prior to joining Amara Resort and Spa, Harrington served as Spa Director at The Wilde Haven Spa, where she successfully led the launch of an 8-room resort spa following a rebranding and renovation. Under her leadership, the spa experienced a significant revenue increase, with projected revenue set to double in 2024. She also curated an innovative spa menu, introduced new skincare lines, and launched a wellness program that further enhanced the guest experience. Her efforts contributed to the spa's recognition as the Forbes ‘Best Hotel Spa' in Sedona.

Harrington also spent over 15 years at Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa, where she played an instrumental role in spa marketing, menu design, budgeting, and operations. Her experience extends beyond management—she has hands-on expertise in product formulation, having founded Green Soul Botanicals LLC, where she created a line of handcrafted herbal spa products.

"We are thrilled to welcome Robin to Amara Resort and Spa," said Evgenia Williamson, General Manager of Amara Resort and Spa. "Her extensive experience, creative vision, and deep understanding of holistic wellness make her the perfect fit to lead our spa. Robin is passionate about curating enriching wellness experiences and creating an environment where guests can reconnect with themselves and nature. Under her leadership, we are confident that Amara's spa will continue to flourish as a sanctuary for relaxation, healing, and innovation."

Harrington holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston, where she specialized in Cultural Anthropology. She also completed 500 hours of certification in Western Herbal Medicine at the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies, reinforcing her commitment to natural healing. Throughout her career, she has combined her passion for herbology, wellness, and hospitality to create spa experiences that honor the healing power of nature. She currently resides in Cornville, AZ with her daughter, her mother, and two winsome dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys tending to her fruit trees, taking walks with her family, drawing, scoping out real estate, and doing photoshoots for her daughter who is a cosplay master.

Amara Resort and Spa, known for its breathtaking red rock views and immersive wellness experiences, is excited to welcome Harrington and looks forward to her contributions in redefining luxury spa experiences.
