New Regional VP of Millennium's New York Properties
And GM of the Millennium Broadway Hotel
NEW YORK, NY, September 23, 2007. Millennium Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Sanders as Regional Vice President of the company's New York hotels and General Manager of the Millennium Broadway Hotel and The Premier. A highly accomplished hospitality executive with experience at prominent hotel properties throughout the U.S., Sanders is responsible for all operations at the two hotels, including overseeing the management team for each property. As Regional Vice President, Sanders will also oversee Millennium Hotels & Resorts' other New York addresses, including the Millennium UN Plaza and the Millenium Hilton.
Sanders honed his management skills at sizable hotels across the country. Prior to joining Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Sanders enjoyed a 25 year career with Marriott International. Most recently, he spent the past seven years as Area General Manager for 11 Marriott properties in New Orleans and General Manager of the New Orleans Marriott Hotel, a 1,290-room property in the French Quarter. Previously, he was Resident Manager and Hotel Manager at the New Orleans Marriott from 1997-2000, and served as Marriott's Vice President of Human Resources for the South Central Region from 1993-1997. Sanders launched his hospitality career at the LaGuardia Marriott in 1981.

A native of Long Island, Sanders earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Industrial Relations from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1980. He currently resides in Long Island with his wife and two daughters.
