New GM Takes Helm at Orlando's Rosen Centre
ORLANDO, FL, Ocotber 5, 2006. Harris Rosen, President and COO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts, announced that Phil Caronia has been named the new General Manager of the award-winning Rosen Centre in Orlando, part of the largest independently owned hotel portfolio in Florida.
Caronia most recently served as the hotel's Director of Convention Services & Catering. He began work at the Rosen Centre more than 11 years ago as Assistant Director of Convention Services & Catering. He was promoted to Director in 1998.

As General Manager, Phil Caronia will oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations including the completion of the multi-million dollar renovation of meeting space. Prior to joining the Rosen hotel group in 1995, Caronia honed his hospitality expertise at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, Marriott Hotels and ITT Sheraton. He graduated from the University of Tampa with a degree in business. He resides in Orlando with his wife of 18 years, Susan, and their two children, Anthony and Katrina.
