The Hay-Adams Ranked Among the Top 100 Hotels

Recognized for Excellence by Travel + Leisure Magazine

. October 14, 2008

WASHINGTON, DC, July 26, 2007. The Hay-Adams, one of the world's leading luxury hotels, located across from The White House, was named one of the Top 100 hotels in the Continental United States and Canada by Travel + Leisure magazine in its World's Best Hotels 2007 Awards. The complete list of winners is contained in the magazine's August, 2007, issue.

The hotel was the only property in Washington, D.C. to make the Top 100 list, which was screened by Travel + Leisure editors from among respondents to a survey of discriminating travelers from around the world conducted by the editors of the magazine and Harris Interactive.

Hans Bruland, General Manager and Vice President of the Hay-Adams, said, "We are delighted and honored to be the sole hotel in the nation's capital to receive this recognition." He concluded, "We thank our loyal guests, whose recommendations helped us to receive this distinction - and along with them our staff, whose dedication and professionalism allows us to maintain superior levels of guest service and personalized attention."

The Travel + Leisure award follows the hotel's receipt of the prestigious Leaders Club Gold Award from Leading Hotels in the World, earlier this year. The Gold Club Award recognized the Hay-Adams as the number one choice for discriminating travelers who belong to the organization's Leaders Club guest loyalty and rewards program.
