Religious Group Meetings on the Rise; Hospitality Veteran Mara Hill Buckner Spearheads Religious Mar

Pheasant Run Resort & Spa recently announced the appointment of Mara Hill Buckner as Sales Manager for the Religious Market. Buckner is a hospitality veteran with extensive experience in the religious segment.

Buckner comes to Pheasant Run Resort & Spa after a distinguished sales career with several prominent hotels. Most recently, she served as Director of National Accounts for the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. Prior to that, she was Associate Director of Sales for the Westin Hotel Renaissance Center in Detroit and Regional Sales Manager at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan. Earlier in her career, Mara worked with the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission.

With extensive experience in group sales in the Midwest, Buckner, who holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Minnesota, is a welcome addition to an already stellar sales team.
