Re-flags Premier Timeshare Resort as Wyndham Property
MAY 1, 2007. Wyndham Vacation Ownership, the world's largest vacation ownership company and a member of the Wyndham Worldwide family of companies (NYSE: WYN), today announced it has introduced the Wyndham brand to Sevierville, TN by re-flagging one of its premier resorts in Tennessee under the Wyndham banner. This change marks one of the first milestones in the recently-announced re-branding initiative bringing the number of Wyndham Vacation Resort properties currently in Tennessee to three.
Fairfield Smoky Mountains will now be known as Wyndham Smoky Mountains. This property, located in Sevierville, TN, is affiliated with the company's FairShare Plus portfolio of vacation ownership resorts. All exterior and interior signage, collateral and marketing materials will reflect the Wyndham brand.

Wyndham Smoky Mountains opened in 2000 and boasts more than 21,000 owners. The property has hosted more than 95,000 visitors since 2003. Wyndham Vacation Ownership also has timeshare properties in Nashville and Fairfield Glade, TN which will be re-flagged within the next twelve months. Wyndham hotels are located in Nashville and Memphis.
In October 2006, Wyndham Vacation Ownership announced that it would re-brand its industry-leading timeshare companies - Fairfield Resorts, Trendwest Resorts and Trendwest South Pacific - under the Wyndham brand. The re-branding process is anticipated to occur over 12 months.
