WRI COO Succeeds Founding Director as CE
DUBLIN, Ireland, February 15, 2008. The Board of Web Reservations International announced the appointment of Feargal Mooney as Chief Executive of the company with immediate effect. Feargal joined WRI as Chief Operations Officer in 2002. Feargal succeeds Ray Nolan who founded WRI in 1999 and who will remain as a board director.
Commenting, Ray Nolan said, "WRI has enjoyed phenomenal growth over a short period and Feargal has played a really important role in our success to date. I and the board believe that he is the person best equipped to sustain the growth as we enter our next phase of development and we look forward to WRI achieving even greater things under Feargal's stewardship in the months and years ahead."
The board also announced the appointment of Fintan Drury as its new non executive Chairman. He succeeds Paddy Holahan who has been Chairman of WRI since 2002 and who will remain on the board as a non executive director.

---|- Feargal Mooney (38) joined WRI in 2002 as Chief Operations Officer. He previously held positions in operational finance with internet security company Baltimore Technologies and as a financial analyst with pharmaceutical firm Pfizer Inc in New York.
---|- Fintan Drury (49) is Chairman of PLATINUM ONE, an international sports management and event consultancy. He founded Drury Communications in 1988, which he sold 10 years later, is a director of Anglo Irish Bank plc, Chairman of Paddy Power plc, and a former Chairman of the RTE Authority.
