Paul Horner Named GM Keauhou Beach Resort

HONOLULU, HI, March 4, 2008. Barry Wallace, executive vice president-hospitalityservices for Outrigger Enterprises Group, is pleased to announce theappointment of Paul Horner as general manager of the Outrigger-managedKeauhou Beach Resort on Hawaii's Big Island. Horner replaces Gregg Enright,who recently transferred to Kauai as Regional Director of CondominiumOperations-Kauai in addition to assuming the role of General Manager of theOutrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa.

In his position, Horner oversees the day-to-day management of the hotel andits staff. He also plans, organizes and directs all hotel services ensuringa balance between customer satisfaction, effective business management andfinancial viability for the property.

Horner has an extensive background in hospitality management, most recentlyas general manager of the The Carneros Inn, a PlumpJack Resort located anhour's drive outside of San Francisco among the vineyards of California.During his tenure, Horner guided this luxury resort through a 50 milliondollar expansion resulting in the Carneros Inn being rated the #11 Resort inthe United States by Conde Nast Traveler in their 2007 Reader's Poll whiletheir Spa was rated the #16 in the United States.

Prior to The Carneros Inn, Horner spent 12 years with Castle & CookeResorts, where he gained front line knowledge in the implementation ofstringent standards for first-class, luxury hospitality while working asGeneral Manager for the luxurious Manele Bay Hotel and as Hotel Manager ofthe award-winning Lodge at Koele.

Horner is a native of Hawaii and a graduate of Kamehameha Schools. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University.
