Bree Benson Appointed DPCS for Lansdowne Resort, Leesburg
HOUSTON, TX, March 18, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Bree Benson as director of conference services for Lansdowne Resort, the landmark property located near Leesburg, Virginia. Tom Manno, Benchmark's managing director at the resort, made the announcement.

Bree Benson was previously the director of convention services for the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, a 496-guestroom property with 45,000 square feet of meeting space, located in Alexandria, Virginia. Both Lansdowne Resort and the Hilton Alexandria are active members of the prestigious global organization, the International Association of Conference Centers.
Prior to this appointment, Ms. Benson was director of convention services for Hilton University Place of Charlotte, North Carolina. Earlier in her career, Benson held the role of senior catering manager for the Savannah Marriot Riverfront and express catering manager of the Omni Netherland Plaza Hotel of Cinncinnati, Ohio.
Bree Benson was honored by Hilton Hotels as Team Member of the Year in 2006. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of The University of North Carolina-Greensboro with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communication. Benson is also a graduate of The Programme of Intercultural Communication & Sociology, located at Vaxjo University in Sweden. She and her husband reside in Arlington, Virginia.
