Waterford Appoints GM for Suites By Marriott in Waterford CT
MARCH 28, 2008 . Waterford Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Anthony Covino as general manager of SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Waterford, CT. As general manager, Covino will be responsible for all phases of the hotel's operations, sales and administration. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm, professionally manages the 80-room hotel.
Covino first joined Waterford in 2001 as sales manager for the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwalk, CT. In 2004 he joined the sales team at the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT before being promoted in 2005 to Front Office Manager. Covino most recently served as assistant general manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Mystic, CT.
