Aramark Harrison Lodging Names Two VPs
APRIL 215, 2008. ARAMARK Harrison Lodging, which provides award-winning food services, facilities management, and uniform and career apparel to specialty hotels, national and state parks, resorts and other tourist destinations throughout the United States, today announced the addition of Bob Marshall as senior vice president of operations and Sandy Heilman as vice president of sales and marketing.
In his role, Marshall will be responsible for directing and supervising the organization's operational activities. He will be based-in Philadelphia and report to Bruce Fears, president of ARAMARK Harrison Lodging.
Marshall has more than 20 years of hospitality experience. Prior to joining ARAMARK, he served as president and general manager of the Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center, a full-service racetrack casino, operated by Delaware North. During his tenure with Delaware North, Marshall also led the operations of the Kennedy Space Center, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and two Ohio hotel properties. Furthermore, Marshall has held management roles with Accenture, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and the Sands Hotel Casino and Country Club located in Atlantic City, N.J.
As vice president of sales and marketing, Sandy Heilman will oversee ARAMARK Harrison Lodging's entire sales process. Moreover, she will lead all marketing, electronic distribution and central reservations programs. Based-in Phoenix, Heilman will also report to Fears.
With more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing Heilman joins ARAMARK from Medieval Times Entertainment. She also served as executive vice president of marketing for La Quinta Corporation and held leadership positions with Choice Hotels International.
