Outrigger Appoints Jennifer Cabasag Senior Sales Manager
MAY 2, 2008. Jennifer Cabasag has been appointed senior sales managerfor three Outrigger Hotels & Resorts beachfront properties in Hawaii. In hernew position, she is responsible for sales and customer service in theretail travel agent, group and meetings markets for the Outrigger Waikiki onthe Beach and the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, both on Oahu, Hawaii; and theKeauhou Beach Resort on Hawaii Island.
Prior to joining Outrigger, Cabasag was employed at the Hawaii Visitors &Convention Bureau as regional director of the Eastern Region, North Americaand Eastern Canada. She also previously served as district sales manager forClassic Custom Vacations and in total has more than 25 years of accountmanagement experience.
"Jennifer has tremendous experience in the hospitality industry, both indepth and breadth," said Roy Cordeiro, director of sales and marketing forthe Outrigger Beachfront Division. "In her stellar career, she has workedwith high-end hotels and wholesale companies, and in destination sales. Shewill be a tremendous asset to Outrigger, particularly as we continue tobring upgraded beachfront properties to the market."
The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is currently undergoing a $110 milliontransformation of its oceanfront property and has already introduced all-newsuites and guestrooms in its re-built Ocean Tower as well as a number ofother upgrades including a remodeled fitness center, new retail shops, Hertzcar desk, cultural showcases, all-new sit-down check-in desk, enhanced pooland pool services, and free high-speed Internet access and long-distancetelephone calls.
The Outrigger-managed Keauhou Beach Resort recently completed a $6 millionupgrade project that encompassed new interior d'ecor and finishes in allguest rooms and corridors, re-designed vanities, and complimentaryhigh-speed Internet access.
The upscale Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is located directly on the sandsof world-famous Waikiki Beach in the heart of exciting Waikiki. The525-room property features three restaurants including the famed Duke'sCanoe Club and Hula Grill Waikiki, the popular Society of Seven cabaretshow, shops, meeting rooms, self-service business center and exceptionaldisplays of Hawaiian artifacts and artwork throughout the property.
