Dean Anderson Named DOS&M Destination Resorts Hawaii
WAILEA, HI, May 30, 2008. Maynard Torchiana, managing director for Destination Resorts Hawaii, announced that Dean Anderson has been hired as the new director of sales and marketing for the company. Destination Resorts Hawaii, managed by Destination Hotels and Resorts, offers the largest selection of fine condominium and villa accommodations along Maui's southern coastline.
A resident of Wailuku, Hawaii, Anderson was previously with The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui, where he served as the director of revenue management. Prior to that, Anderson was the director of sales, Hawaii Region for TravelCLICK in Honolulu and director of online marketing for Castle Resorts and Hotels, also based in Honolulu.
Anderson originally graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara then went on to obtain a master's degree in business administration from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, as well as a master's of science in Japanese business studies from Chaminade University in Honolulu. Anderson has also earned certificates in hospitality marketing, hotel revenue management and financial management from e-Cornell.
