Bernard Granier New GM Hotel Concorde La Fayette

JUNE 3, 2008. Concorde Hotels & Resorts has recently appointed Bernard Granier as General Manager of Hotel Concorde La Fayette and Director of Operations for the Paris Region. Granier returns to Paris for his second time at the helm of Hotel Concorde La Fayette, where he will manage overall operations for the Group's flagship at Porte Maillot. In addition, as Regional Director for the Group's hotel portfolio in Paris (6), he will be responsible for nearly 2,500 guest rooms and suites.

A 30-year veteran of the hotel industry, Granier most recently served as Senior Vice President, Europe and Africa for M"ovenpick Group, a Swiss hospitality company. Granier's extensive background in hotel management stems from his experience as former General Manager and Regional Director at Hotel M'eridien Etoile in Paris, where he oversaw the property's renovation project. He also held the position of Master and Commander at Porte Mailott and General Manager of Hotel Concorde La Fayette prior to joining the M"ovenpick Group. Granier is a graduate from hotel schools in Toulouse and Lausanne.
