ResortQuest Hawaii Hires New GM for The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach
HONOLULU, HI, June 5, 2008. Douglas Rucker was recently appointed general manager of ResortQuest Hawaii's award winning The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. He joins ResortQuest Hawaii with 30 years of hospitality experience.
Rucker has lived and worked in popular destinations such as Mackinac Island, Michigan, and most recently in Duck Key, Florida where he served as the resort manager at the 60-acre Hawk's Cay Resort, an award winning world class destination.
Prior to that, Rucker headed the operations for the South Seas Island Resorts Company, which includes a diverse portfolio of individual resorts off the southwest coast of Florida.
