. October 14, 2008

MORGANTOWN, WV, June 12, 2008. Marshall Management, Inc., a leading, mid-sized hotel management company, in conjunction with Parry Petroplus, managing partner of Mermaid, LLC, today announced that hospitality veteran Danny Watts has been named general manager of the 205-room Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, W. Va. Watts will oversee a multi-million dollar expansion of the property, including the addition of a 78,000 square-foot event center and an additional parking garage. The property is owned by Mermaid, LLC, and is operated under a management agreement by Marshall Management, Inc.

"Danny has the experience, expertise and skillset to manage a property and an addition of this size," said Ben Seidel, executive vice president of Marshall Management. "He's been in the industry for more than 15 years and has a proven track record of deftly managing large projects, resulting in increased efficiency and an enhanced bottom line. His skillset and background fit the needs of the Waterfront Place Hotel perfectly. As we take a successful hotel and expand its services and capacity, Danny's knowledge should prove to be valuable assets."

Watts joins the Waterfront after six years with the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, W. Va., where he started as the front office manager and was promoted to director of operations. During his tenure, Watts created more than $14 million in top-line revenues at Stonewall and increased spa revenue by more than 25 percent. His prior experience also includes restaurant management at four-diamond dining establishments.

The 205-room Waterfront Place Hotel, located at the edge of the Monongahela River in Morgantown's Wharf District, currently features 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, to increase to more than 88,000 square feet after the planned expansion. It also is home to the Regatta Bar and Grille, known for its steak and seafood, and the Rat Pack Lounge, an intimate cigar bar. The property is equidistant from Morgantown's business district, West Virginia University and outdoor recreation, making it a center point for all that West Virginia has to offer. The new event center broke ground March 17, with a ceremony featuring West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin and other state and local officials.
