Kevin Breet Named GM at Conrad Cairo
JULY 9, 2008. Kevin Brett has joined Conrad Hotels & Resorts, the global contemporary luxury hotel brand, as General Manager of the Conrad Cairo.
Kevin will manage all operational efforts with a focus on further enhancing the Conrad Cairo's position as one of the city's most sophisticated luxury hotels. Kevin replaces the former respected General Manager, Jan M"onkedieck, who recently transferred to the Hilton Abu Dhabi.
With a career spanning 27 years in the hospitality sector, Kevin brings a wealth of experience to the brand. Having spent the past five years working in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, his knowledge of the hospitality scene will prove indispensable.
Prior to taking up his new role at the Conrad Cairo, Kevin was General Manager at the Hilton Abu Dhabi and he has also held senior management positions in Oman, Malaysia and the UK. Not a stranger to the Conrad brand, Kevin also previously worked for the Conrad Istanbul, Turkey (1992 to 1994), where he held the position of Rooms Division Manager.
