Sage Hospitality Names Brian L. Throne VPFS
DENVER, CO, September 16, 2008. Sage Hospitality, a national leader in hotel development and management, announced that Brian L. Throne has joined the Sage leadership team as Vice President Financial Services. Mr. Throne will oversee the Property Accounting Department at Sage managing financial statement review, benchmarking, annual strategic planning, audits, monitoring cash and working capital positioning, compliance, and owner communications.

Prior to joining Sage Hospitality, Mr. Throne was a VP of Finance for First Data Corporation where he oversaw the global real estate finance organization including financial oversight of the company's 200 owned and leased properties. Prior to First Data, Mr. Throne was seventeen years with UPS in finance, accounting, IT and marketing roles.
Mr. Throne received a B.S. Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. In addition, he holds a Certificate in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and a Certificate in Managing People from the Dale Carnegie Institute.
