SoftHotel Signs AutoClerk as Value-added Reseller
CHANDLER, AZ, September 19, 2008. SoftHotel, Inc., a leading provider of web-based Property and Distribution products for over 1300 properties, announced today that AutoClerk is now a "white label" Value Added Reseller for Softhotel products and services. As part of the agreement, AutoClerk will re-brand SoftHotel as its next-generation web-based property system, AutoClerk OnLineTM.
AutoClerk OnLineTM will be delivered and supported through AutoClerk's well-seasoned deployment, training and support staff. AutoClerk OnLine will also include SoftHotelPMX (property managed exchange), a new class of distribution subsystem engineered to be the "supply-side" Single Point Execution for all channel and revenue optimization management. AutoClerk customers will also benefit from the many advantages of web-based technology, including decreased equipment costs, improved support, data security and improved usability.
"AutoClerk has a well established track record for excellent customer service and a strong knowledge of hotel operations as a result of its 22 year history in deploying and supporting hotel systems," said SoftHotel president, Mike Kennedy. "After an in-depth search of available next generation products, we are both honored and thrilled that AutoClerk chose SoftHotel based on it robust functionality, Revenue/Channel Management capabilities and ground-breaking, web-based architecture. The partnership truly leverages our respective core strengths - SoftHotel in the area of product development and AutoClerk in the area of customer service and training."
Gary Gibb, president of AutoClerk, adds, "We have known for many years that our next generation product needed to be web-based, and have been planning accordingly. SoftHotel's elegant implementation, both from a functionality and dependability standpoint, accomplishes many of the same goals we had set for ourselves. SoftHotel technology offers a new and refreshing approach to building, deploying, and maintaining property management systems. The hospitality industry desperately needs innovation of this kind to ease the workload of overburdened hoteliers and network administrators. Collaboration between SoftHotel and AutoClerk is already underway. The exchange of ideas between the two companies is expected to accelerate product and services development to better meet the demands of a wide range of hoteliers."
