Eric Gavin Appointed DOS&M at Loews Miami Beach
MIAMI BEACH, FL, September, 25, 2008. Loews Miami Beach Hotel, situated in the pulse of sizzling South Beach, has named Eric Gavin as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Gavin will utilize his twelve plus years of experience in overseeing all day-to-day sales and marketing aspects of the 790-room hotel.
This new position marks Gavin's homecoming to Loews Hotels, where he was Associate Director of Sales for Loews Miami Beach Hotel beginning in 2002, followed by Director of Sales for the Don CeSar Beach Resort, a Loews Hotel. In both roles, he exceeded expectations and was instrumental in the group sales success of the hotels. Most recently, Gavin was the Director of Sales and Marketing for The Grove Isle Hotel & Spa, where he assisted in the repositioning of the hotel as one of Florida's premier, luxury, boutique resorts.
