Onity Appoints Suzanne Child as Global Marketing Manager
ATLANTA, GA, October 29, 2008. Onity has announced the appointment of Suzanne Child to the position of marketing manager for their global operations. Based at Onity's headquarters in Atlanta, Suzanne will be responsible for executing integrated communication plans and marketing programs through various marketing channels including, advertising, trade shows and promotional programs to meet revenue objectives. She will report to Bill Oliver, Onity's vice president of Global Sales & Marketing. Onity, one of the world's leading providers of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
Suzanne joins Onity's management team with over seven years of marketing experience in the domestic and international marketplace with a Fortune 500 company. Previously, she served as marketing manager for Pratt & Whitney Power Systems, another UTC company. There, she expanded Pratt & Whitney's market share; developed, executed and led the marketing plan to achieve corporate objectives; and established long-term strategic marketing goals for the continued success of Pratt & Whitney's Power Systems division.
