TARRYTOWN, NY, November 10, 2008. With a lavish new facility featuring bronze art deco chandeliers, a stunning double-sided stone fireplace and 10,000 square feet of event and multi-function space, the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown now offers the largest Grand Ballroom in Westchester County.

This latest addition to the newly renovated hotel has quickly transformed the Doubletree into Westchester's premier site for business meetings and events. The unique combination of stonework and lustrous woods, mixed with the rich colors of gold and maroon, give the Grand Ballroom a truly luxurious ambiance. The spacious pre-function area opens to a magnificent outdoor terrace, with both areas sharing a huge two-sided stone fireplace. All new dark wood furnishings complement the Grand Ballroom's striking d'ecor.

The entire 246-room hotel has been completely refurbished from the lobby with its soaring beamed ceiling, stonework and two modern fireplaces, to its guest rooms, each with the signature Sweet Dreams (R) by Doubletree sleep experience, Wi-fi computer service, 32-inch flat screen television, two direct-dial telephones with voice mail, and complimentary in-room coffee or tea.

The Doubletree Hotel also offers a total of 24,000 square feet of flexible meeting and pre-function space, including the 4,250-square-foot Westchester Ballroom and 17 meeting rooms. The picturesque courtyard park, surrounded by the Hudson Highlands, is perfect for a cocktail party or outdoor events.

All meeting support services feature a complimentary Business Center with high-speed Internet access, on-site audio-visual services with state-of-the-art equipment, and a banquet manager on duty during all functions. In addition, the Doubletree offers a facility for Kosher events and a separate Glatt Kosher kitchen.

Guests can enjoy an indoor pool and sauna, and a massage treatment room is also available. A fitness room features Precor cardio equipment with personal TV screens, as well as free weights.

The Doubletree also recently introduced Bistro Z, an upscale modern American bistro serving fresh and creative seasonal specialties with a French flair. Bistro Z is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Attire is casual.
