Orient-Express Names New GM at Windsor Court Hotel, New Orleans

NOVEMBER 12, 2008. Orient-Express Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of David Teich as General Manager of Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans.

Mr. Teich comes to The Windsor Court with thirty-four years of experience in the hospitality industry from one of Orient-Express' most celebrated hotels, Charleston Place in the heart of historic Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Teich held several positions with the hotel since 1996, most recently as Director of Operations, and prior to that post, Sales & Marketing Director and Food & Beverage Director.

Prior to joining Orient-Express Hotels, he held management positions with the Hyatt Coral Gables FL, Holiday Inn Hotels and Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego CA.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Teich has been active in several community organizations including the United Way, Urban League, City Planning groups as well as hospitality industry associations. A native New Yorker, he is married and the father of three.
