. November 20, 2008

NOVEMBER 19, 2008. Life Resorts Management Company has named Holman Fong as sales and marketing director for its growing portfolio of owned and managed properties in Vietnam.

Fong's experience includes management stints at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Hyatt International, Marriott International, Accor, Sheraton, OAG and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. He has also worked for Life Resorts as the company's Asia representative in Hong Kong.

His expertise ranges from pre-openings to regional sales management, a skill-set of particular appeal at Life Resorts.

"We're currently operating two of our own properties, managing a third and in pre-opening development on several other owned and to-be-managed properties," said Chris Duffy, general director of Life Resorts Management. "Fong will be busy, but fortunately he's already an expert on the product."

Based in Life's HCMC headquarters, Fong' responsibilities include development of marketing strategies that leverage the group's philosophical commitment to the senses, to cultural sensitivity, environmental awareness and feng shui.

"Life's vision as a hospitality player in Asia is singular," said Fong. "We're responsible not only to great hardware, but to the well-being of our guests' sense of smell, taste, sight, touch and sound. Our dedication to the multi-dimensional experience is what sets us apart."
