Hotel Equities Names Sal Capriola as the DT
ATLANTA, GA, November 24, 2008. Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently named Sal Capriola to the position of Director of Training. His responsibilities include developing and conducting Hotel Equities University classes and scheduling and conducting Operations Audit (OA) inspections of all hotels. He also provides operational leadership and support in the field. He reports to Tamara Markham, HE Director of Operations.

Beginning as a front desk associate at the Fairfield Inn-Alpharetta, Mr. Capriola moved up quickly to Assistant General Manager at the Perimeter Fairfield Inn before earning the position of General Manager at the SpringHill Suites in Alpharetta. He later returned to the Fairfield Inn & Suites-Perimeter Center as General Manager and also served as a Team Leader and later a Financial Analyst for Hotel Equities.
In 2007, Marriott International named Mr. Capriola the General Manager of the Year for the Fairfield Inn brand of hotels from a field of more than 550 hotels nationwide. He also earned the distinction of Fairfield Inn Magic GM of the year. And his hotel was named the 2007 Marriott Training Hotel of the Year.
The company appointed Mr. Capriola to the Operations Audit Team in 2008 and also named him a Senior Team Leader with responsibility for eight hotels.
Mr. Capriola is currently completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of Phoenix-Atlanta Campus. Married and the father of three, he resides in Cumming, GA and coaches his son's baseball team. He enjoys spending time with family, watching sports and collecting sports memorabilia.
