Rim Hospitality Executive Appointments
MODESTO, CA, November 26, 2008. Rim Hospitality, one of the largest hotel management companies in the United States, today announced two executive promotions. Russ Cox has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer along with Jeff Hasty stepping into the role of VP of Sales and Marketing.
As Chief Operating Officer, Russ is responsible for the oversight of all 36 Rim managed hotels which currently exceeds 5,000 rooms and employs over 2,200 employees in seven states and Canada. Russ started his career in 1974 with Red Lion Inns and Hotels and over the years gained valuable expertise in Operations, Sales & Marketing, Labor Relations, Food & Beverage and Hotel Construction. He joined Rim Hospitality in 2005 as Vice President of Operations overseeing 8 hotels. In 2007 he was promoted to Executive Vice President and soon after took on the responsibilities of COO.

Another key promotion includes Jeff Hasty, as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Jeff's hospitality career spans over 15 years of Operations, Sales and Marketing experience including his position as Market Director of Sales-Las Vegas-NV for Marriott International. Jeff ended his span at Marriott as General Manager- Marriott International -Global Reservation Sales & Customer Care Office, CA-Led a sales office of 200+ associates that generated over $450M a year in sales for 100+ regional participating Marriott hotels and global sales. Jeff joined Rim in November 2007 as a Divisional Vice President of Operations where he had regional responsibilities and oversight of multiple hotels, brands and development.
