Omni Hires New VP of Loyalty Services
Hotel Brand Creates New Position to Lead Loyalty Program
JANUARY 8, 2009 - Omni Hotels announced that Jeff Smith has rejoined the company in the newly created position, vice president of loyalty services. Smith will collaborate and spearhead initiatives across virtually all disciplines within the organization to ensure the vision of a heightened level of personalized service is flawlessly executed, creating memorable experiences for Omni's guests. Smith is initially focused on launching the next generation of Omni's long term recognition-based program in the spring of 2009 as it marks its 20th anniversary, including enhanced services, new technology implementation and more rewards options for the guest.
Smith returns to Omni Hotels after a three year tenure with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts where he served as vice president of brand operations. Responsibilities included owner relations, franchise hotel oversight, brand standards and quality assurance. In his previous time with Omni Hotels, he served in several operations positions including vice president of operations from 2003 to 2005.

Smith completed his MBA from Rockhurst College and received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Hotel Management at Michigan State University.
