Leading distributor of visual content enters partnership with reservations service and representatio
TORONTO, Canada / HENDERSONVILLE, TN, February 3, 2009 - VFM Leonardo Inc., the leading distributor of visual content for the global travel industry, today announced its partnership with InnLink Central Reservation Services, an industry leading provider of reservation services for hotels and hotel companies. As a Reservation Enhancing Partner, VFM Leonardo is committed to helping InnLink's hotels generate more reservations through electronic channels.
InnLink currently uses VFM Leonardo's VScape(R) Digital Asset Management platform to distribute hotel photos to all four Global Distribution Systems, Pegasus and thousands of travel websites that millions of in-market travel shoppers use to research, compare and book hotels online, every day.
The VFM Leonardo-InnLink partnership gives InnLink hotels the opportunity to add rich media, including full motion video, PhotoFlicks(R) videos, PhotoMontages and 360? virtual tours to their hotel listings on all of these electronic distribution channels. Rich media distribution is a cost-effective solution that maximizes online visibility, better merchandises hotel properties and ultimately leads to increased bookings.
"With fewer consumers traveling, and those who are more value-conscious than ever, it's essential for hotels to focus on marketing strategies that drive higher bookings and support higher ADR. Studies prove that online rich media, especially video that lets online travel shoppers 'experience' the hotel, is highly influential on booking decisions because it differentiates based on value, instead of price. Rich media distributed across our network is proven to help hotels drive increased bookings and revenue, even in the slow economy," Paolo Boni, CEO, VFM Leonardo Inc.
"At InnLink, we're focused on increasing reservation revenue for our hotels. Now, we've added even more value to our offering that gives our customers yet another opportunity to present their hotel's unique story and increase their revenue through online channels," states Per Wendin, CEO, InnLink Central Reservation Services.
