Verhonda Sercey Appointed DoS&M at Georgian Terrace

ATLANTA, GA, February 19, 2009 - Officials of The Georgian Terrace Hotel, Atlanta's iconic hotel, today announced the appointment of Verhonda Sercey as director of sales and marketing. Sercey will be responsible for all of the property's marketing and sales activities as the hotel begins to ramp up efforts to promote property enhancements following a comprehensive renovation that is scheduled for completion this coming April. Sercey is the latest in a series of key appointments as the hotel moves to add depth to its management team.

Sercey was director of sales for the Embassy Suites Atlanta-Airport immediately prior to joining The Georgian Terrace Hotel. Previously, she was regional director of sales for Pineapple Management Services, Inc., and managed all advertising, public relations and promotional activities. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina, in Spartanburg.
