Holiday Inn Sulphur, LA Appoints Harold Miller GM

MARCH 2, 2009 - Holiday Inn Sulphur has named Harold Miller, general manager of its 97-room mini convention hotel located at 330 Arena Road in Sulphur.

In his new role, Harold will oversee all departments of this full service hotel and mini convention center. "As the General Manager I hope to provide the services that business traveler, groups and organizations need, while also offering a comfortable atmosphere where all people can relax and enjoy tour amenities. Such as our restaurant, room services, indoor swimming pool, fitness center and our Lounge. We will also provide meeting facilities with full in house catering and an onsite business center. We will also provide the Kids Eat Free program and the ability to earn Priority Club Reward Points and the Priority Club Meeting Rewards Programs."

With more than sixteen years in the hospitality industry, Harold Miller most recently served as General Manager of the Coushatta Grand Inn where he was named supervisor of the Quarter three times - 2002, 2004, and 2007. He also served on the casino United Way Committee, the casino evaluation committee, and has been a member of the Calcasieu and Allen Parish Hotel/Motel Association.

Harold Miller began his hospitality career in graduating from Sulphur High and McNeese State University. He then graduated from Dale Carnegie and has obtained numerous hospitality related certification, and is currently studying for his Certification as Hospitality Administrator through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
