Melissa Watro Named Catering SM
Lancaster County Convention Center and Marriott at Penn Square
MONDAY 2, 2009 - The Lancaster County Convention Center and Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square recently named Melissa Watro as catering sales manager. She will be responsible for the solicitation, procurement & management of catering operations at the convention center and the adjoining 300-room hotel with a combined 90,000 square feet of meeting space, scheduled to open in Spring 2009. Melissa currently resides in Lancaster, Pa.

With more than 20 years of hospitality experience and a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, she most recently worked as catering manager for The St. Regis Hotel in New York, where she was part of a Five-Star, Five-Diamond Catering Team. Watro also previously held catering positions at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco and The Sheraton Grande Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif.
