Desires Appoints Director of Revenue and Channel Management
MARCH 3, 2009 - Desires Hotels, the unique collection of independently created modern boutique hotels, today announced the appointment of Francine Dryja, CRDE, as the Corporate Director of Revenue and Channel Distribution Management. In her new role, Dryja will handle all aspects of revenue management and provide strategic direction for the company's portfolio. With more than 14 years of proven success in the hotel industry, Dryja has a wealth of experience to draw upon. Ms. Dryja held positions at Hyatt and Lodgian Hotels helping establish brand standards, and developing strategies to build occupancy while maintaining the highest levels of occupancy and rates.
Prior to her appointment, Dryja was most recently the Transitional Services/ Brand Support Manager for Select Hotels Group where she was part of a team responsible for the complete conversion and rebranding of AmeriSuites into Hyatt Place hotels as well as overseeing budgeting from the pre-construction to completion of new properties. At Lodgian Hotels where she served as Regional Director of Quality and Training, Dryja led a region of 21 hotels and trained hotel associates in various areas including management leadership, brand-sponsored programs, alcohol awareness and guest service.
