Key Appointment Made at Thomas Cook

UNITED KINGDOM, Ocotber 28, 2005. Thomas Cook's flights and ancillaries team, responsible for the company's relationships with scheduled carriers, hotels and holiday add-ons, has been enhanced with the appointment of Katie Williams as Commercial Manager.

Katie joins Thomas Cook from British Airways, where she was a Key Account Manager for four years with sole responsibility for relationships with key retail partners. Her role at Thomas Cook will be to manage relations with all scheduled airlines and to expand the level of flight sales via Thomas Cook's stores, call centres and thomascook.com.

Katie will report to Carol Dray, Director of Multimedia, Flights and Ancillaries.
