Hand Picked Hotels Expands Its Marketing Team
UNITED KINGDOM, October 28, 2005. Award-winning Hand Picked Hotels has further strengthened its marketing team by appointing Stephen Callis as the new marketing manager for the hotel group.
The exclusive collection of 14 luxurious country house hotels, with the emphasis on exquisite food, fine wines and first-class service, was created four years ago by former City lawyer Julia Hands.
Stephen Callis has extensive experience in the travel marketing sector. Having graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Hotel and Tourism Management, he spent a year as a project manager for Business to Business Exhibitions in London. This was followed by two and a half years as marketing executive for Continental Airlines, and most recently, two and half years as trade communications manager for First Choice Holidays & Flights.
The arrival of Stephen Callis follows the appointment of former budget hotel guru, Nick Read, as Marketing Director for the Hand Picked Hotels group. Nick Read aims to develop Hand Picked Hotels into the first choice brand among luxury hotels. He is focussed on building a marketing team to take Hand Picked Hotels into the market place to create impact, increase sales and build brand recognition.

The Sevenoaks-based company has won a number of recent accolades.
