Del Mar Development Names Tracy Ford Director of Property Management for New Luxury Hacienda Project

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico, May 5, 2009 - Tracy Ford, one of the luxury resort industry's most experienced executives, has been named director of property management for Hacienda, the new luxury residential resort community in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In addition to his primary responsibilities of bringing Hacienda to launch, he oversees all operations for the project including the vacation rental program.

Hacienda is a stunning new luxury residential community on the most coveted beach in Cabo San Lucas. Fashioned after a Mediterranean hill town village and located on the region's most swim-able beach, it will offer the first truly high end vacation experience in the town. With 109 two, three and four-bedroom villas, 16 right at the water's edge with direct beach access, Ford will oversee all aspects of operations including property facilities and service. A number of these units will be available to vacationers through Hacienda's vacation rental program.

Ford has been with Del Mar Development, the management company for Hacienda, since 2005. Prior to being tapped for Hacienda, he supported the award-winning operation for Villas Del Mar, a highly regarded residential community in the master planned development of Palmilla.

Prior to joining Del Mar Development, Ford was director of Food & Beverage for Starwood Hawaii. He served as hotel manager for Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa, a Luxury Collection Resort in French Polynesia. Ford also directed food and beverage for several Hawaii based properties including Kapalua Bay & Ocean Villas, Hotel Hana Maui, Ihilani Resort & Spa and The Grand Wailea Resort & Spa.

Ford is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a member of Confrerie de la Chaine Des Rotisseurs and Les Amis d'Escoffier Society of Hawaii.
