Millennium & Copthorne Hotels & Resorts Make Senior Appointment
SINGAPORE, June 8, 2005. Millennium & Copthorne Hotels & Resorts announce the appointment of Mr Sudheer Raghavan as its President for the Americas. Sudheer, a Singaporean who has a Master of Science Degree from Cranfield Institute of Technology in the UK, will take up his appointment on 1 August 2005.
Sudheer comes with strong experience and proven leadership achievement in the travel and logistics industry. He has had a progressive career in the world-renowned Singapore Airlines (SIA), rising from a junior executive in 1981 to presently Senior Vice President in the Singapore Airlines Cargo Company.
Sudheer also held several other key senior positions in Singapore Airlines (passenger airline) including Corporate Vice President for Worldwide Revenue Managment. For several years he was the Vice President for the Eastern Division, Americas, based in New York, as well as being the airline's Area Vice President in Singapore.
