Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Expands Mexico Operations with Vice President Miguel Rivera
Firm Bolsters Investment Sales and Financing Capabilities
MIAMI, FL, November 3, 2005. Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has named Miguel Rivera vice president. Based in Miami, Mr. Rivera is responsible for overseeing the development of the firm's hospitality advisory, investment sales and debt and equity capital raising services in Mexico and Latin America. He will report to Gregory Rumpel, executive vice president in Miami.
Mr. Rivera's new role reinforces the firm's commitment to enhance its hotels service platform and to strengthen its growing hotels presence in Mexico, Central America and South America.

Mr. Rivera has eight years of hotel consulting and debt underwriting experience in diverse real estate assets and markets including the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, he was most recently an associate director for Standard and Poor's. Previously, he was a vice president for HVS International, where he initiated that company's Mexico business during his six-year tenure. Mr. Rivera has an MBA from Yale University and a bachelor's of science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
