Kempinski Grand Hotel Des Bains St. Moritz adds Chesa Chantarella Restaurant to Its Gourmet Offer
ST. MORITZ, November 10, 2005. The Kempinski Hotel Grand Hotel des Bains, St. Moritz' youngest deluxe hotel, has just added another gem to the exquisite range of gourmet options on offer, opening at the beginning of the winter season, on December 2, 2005. The already acclaimed restaurant Chesa Chantarella on Corviglia Mountain, above the vibrant and picturesque resort of St. Moritz, will be managed by the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains.
Amidst the mountain slopes, guests can enjoy warming beverages and snacks during the day, while topping up on some sunshine on the sun terrace with its breathtaking views over the Engadine mountains. In the evenings, Kempinski's Gault Millau awarded head chef, Ivan Gotfredsen and his team, invite gourmets to delicious hours of 'Mountain Dining'. At the end of the evening, a romantic horse-drawn sledge whisks guests back to the village. For the more daring, a speedy single sledge run down the pistes is possible. The Chesa Chantarella also offers twelve guest rooms and one cosy suite, for ski enthusiasts who prefer to take advantage of solitary slopes in the morning or restaurant patrons, who wish to stay the night. Tailor-made functions for up to 180 guests can be arranged upon request.
