ST. MAARTEN, Netherlands Antilles, December 19, 2005. Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino, St. Maarten's premiere resort for leisure and nightlife, is luring guests out of the snow and down to St. Maarten this winter with new, property improvements.
BUSINESS, MEETINGS AND GROUPS:
Opening in mid-January, the business traveler will enjoy the new Business Center on the first floor of the Ocean Terrace with four work stations, fax machine and printer as well as the new Internet bar installed in the Sky Tower lobby. They will arrive to their meetings in style as the Conference Center has received new carpets, fans and lighting. The Pre-Function area was also remodeled with new wall covering, flooring, and air-conditioning. The Royal Pavillion rooms at meeting area level and Sky Tower lobby have also been completely upgraded.
ROOM UPGRADES:
All rooms have new 27 inch color televisions and a new TV system installed with Pay Per View (completed by February), video games, and interactive check-out/folio views. There are also new coffee makers in all rooms as well as new pillow top mattresses to ensure guests truly enjoy their downtime.
