Awarded for the fourth consecutive year as the best business hotel in Riyadh by readers of Middle East Business Traveller and Al Iktissaad Wal Aamal magazines, the InterContinental Riyadh has more recently undergone significant upgrades with recent room renovations.
Al Dossari has been working in association with InterContinental Hotels Group for almost two decades and is looking forward to boosting the profile of the property to international markets.
The Saudi hospitality professional - who speaks Arabic, English and French - has an extensive understanding of the hotel business in Saudi Arabia. Born and raised in Riyadh, Al Dossari moves into the new role from a similar position as the General Manager of the Abha and Makkah InterContinental Hotels. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of the Abha InterContinental Hotel and Conference Centre. Having started his professional life as a senior control clerk in the credit department of a bank, Al Dossari has a firm understanding of financial and back-office operations.
Commenting on his new role, Al Dossari said: 'InterContinental Hotels Group has an exceptionally strong name in Saudi Arabia as well as across the Middle East due to its continued commitment to providing exceptional service. For nearly 20 years I have worked with the world's largest hotel group and I am very proud to now be taking on this role, at one of the best InterContinental properties in the world.'
'At InterContinental Riyadh, the culture is to provide our guests with the very highest standards possible and that is something that I would like to see continue. Just recently we saw the opening of the refurbished Club InterContinental wing and we will continue to do what it takes to keep our hotel at number one.'
