Turner Takes MacDonald Sales Role
UNITED KINGDOM, January 18, 2006. Lesley Turner has swapped views of the Caribbean for the golf courses of a leading Whitchurch hotel.
The 42-year-old spent four years in the Cayman Islands before returning to the UK to work at the Macdonald Linden Hall Golf & Country Club in Morpeth, Northumberland, Rowton Hall Country House Hotel in Chester and the Llyndir Hall Hotel in Rossett.
She has now been appointed conference and sales co-ordinator at the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club in Tarporley Road which is currently undergoing a lb13.5 million refurbishment that includes creating a total of 86 bedrooms and conference and banqueting facilities for up to 300 guests.
"I spent two years in San Francisco between 1991 and 1993 and then moved to the Cayman Islands where I stayed until 1997," said Lesley, who lives in Holt. "It is as beautiful as you would imagine. But I am looking forward to joining the conference and sales team here and we have plenty of work to do ahead of the completion of the major refurbishment in the Spring. I will be dealing with enquiries as well as talking to local businesses and organisations to spread the word about the superb conference and meeting facilities that are being built."
