Choice Promotes Alexandra Jaritz-Kendrick to VP Development Operations
SILVER SPRING, MD, January 23, 2006. Choice Hotels International, Inc. today announced the promotion of Alexandra Jaritz-Kendrick to vice president, development operations. Jaritz-Kendrick previously held the position of senior director, brand strategy.
In her new role, Jaritz-Kendrick will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing key strategic and operational initiatives designed to drive incremental unit growth and optimize operating efficiencies. She will oversee all aspects of development operations including development marketing, market and feasibility analyses, and identifying and implementing industry best practices in the areas of business intelligence, technology support, sales tools/training and daily operating processes. In addition, Jaritz-Kendrick will be working closely with the vice presidents of development to help develop and implement development strategies.

Jaritz-Kendrick joined Choice in 2001 and has held positions in the areas of strategy, brand management and operational effectiveness. Prior to joining Choice, Jaritz-Kendrick worked as a Consultant at Ernst & Young's Hospitality Services Group in New York. She holds an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration.
