Christopher Frothingham Named Executive Chef of Fish Club at Seattle Marriott

SEATTLE, WA, February 15, 2006. Christopher Frothingham has been appointed executive chef of Fish Club, Todd English's restaurant located at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. As executive chef, Frothingham will oversee and execute a menu featuring world cuisine with strong Northwest influences.

Frothingham returns to Todd English's The Olive Group from Legal Sea Food in Boston, where he developed new culinary concepts while managing a $10 million training store. Previously, Frothingham served as executive chef of English's seafood restaurant Kingfish Hall and executive chef at English's steak house Bonfire, both in Boston.

"We wholeheartedly welcome Chris back to The Olive Group family," said Todd English. "Seattle is the perfect place for him to showcase his passion for integrating regional ingredients with flavors from around the world."

Frothingham graduated from the accelerated culinary program at New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont after first receiving his B.A. in Latin American Environmental Economics at Hobart College in Geneva, New York.

"I am in awe of the scenery right outside Fish Club's windows with Elliott Bay, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains in full view," said Frothingham. "I can't wait to introduce a new springtime menu, with dishes that take full advantage of all our incredible regional products."

Fish Club was inspired by the fishing traditions of the Mediterranean, where fishermen gathered after their time at sea to trade stories, share food and drink, and celebrate their livelihood and harvest. Fish Club's menu featuring Seattle's abundance of beautiful seafood and exceptional local produce, and the wine list features many of Washington's top wine producers.
