Steve Lambert Appointed General Manager of Ocean Edge Resort & Club on Cape Cod
New England native steps up to lead the Cape 's premier destination retreat
BREWSTER, MA, June 22, 2005. Ocean Edge Resort & Club On Cape Cod has announced the appointment of Steve Lambert as its new General Manager. A seasoned veteran of hotel management who has spent his entire career in the hospitality industry, Lambert will oversee all resort and club operations at the destination retreat.
The premier seaside resort on Cape Cod, Ocean Edge boasts an array of luxury accommodations, restaurants, recreational facilities and services, including an 18-hole PGA Championship golf course, USPTA-certified tennis facilities, a fully equipped fitness center, four dining venues, inventive Ocean EdgeVentures kids programs, and a 700-foot private beach on Cape Cod Bay. Prior to taking the reins at Ocean Edge, Lambert was the General Manager at the 272-suite Embassy Suites Boston at Logan Airport, a position he began with the property's opening in 2002. Before that he spent 12 years in management positions at a series of Starwood Hotel properties throughout Massachusetts , including as G.M. of the Sheraton Newton Hotel, Sheraton Ferncroft Resort and the 1,000-room Boston Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Beantown. He got his start in the hospitality industry on Cape Cod back in 1986.
Lambert, 37, is a native of Sturbridge, Massachusetts He is married with three children.
