New Recruit for Hand Picked Hotels Marketing Team
UNITED KINGDOM, March 3, 2006. Award-winning Hand Picked Hotels has further strengthened its marketing team by appointing Rebecca Tarla as the new senior marketing coordinator for the hotel group.
Created by former City lawyer Julia Hands, the exclusive Hand Picked Hotels collection are 14 architecturally splendid former country houses, renowned for stunning interiors, exquisite food, fine wines and excellent service in a relaxing atmosphere. The hotels are conveniently located across the UK, from Surrey, Kent and East Sussex, the New Forest, Jersey and Edinburgh.
In her new role, Rebecca will be responsible for coordinating local marketing campaigns as well as national advertising, and managing relationships with media, print, PR, creative agencies and third party contacts. She will look after the Hand Picked Hotels loyalty club and work on Spa marketing. Rebecca will also project manage the development and implementation of a new Hand Picked Hotels intranet.
Prior to joining Hand Picked Hotels, Rebecca was marketing executive for airports and tourist boards for First Choice Holidays, responsible for implementing advertising campaigns, and working with third party contacts including UK airports and foreign tourist boards.
Rebecca said: "I am looking forward to working with the Hand Picked Hotels marketing team to build on the group's recent successes and improve brand recognition".
The new marketing team at Hand Picked Hotels is headed up by former budget hotel guru, Nick Read, who aims to develop Hand Picked Hotels into the first choice brand among luxury hotels and to build a marketing team to take Hand Picked Hotels into the market place to create impact, increase sales and build brand recognition.
The Sevenoaks-based company has won a number of recent accolades. Hand Picked Hotels was AA Hotel Group of the Year 2004-2005 and the company was presented with the Business Excellence Award last December by the Tourism Minister for its commitment to customer service and developing the brand. Its founder, Julia Hands, was presented with the top award in the Tourism and Leisure business sector of the First Women Awards, organised by the CBI, in conjunction with Real Business magazine, in July this year.
