Investor Group Buys Hotel Developer DTLL
BLOOMINGTON, IL, March 03, 2006. A three-party investor group acquired DTLL Inc., a developer of resorts and hotels, the company said in a statement.
The investors, a partnership of Dual Cooper, Island Residences Club Inc. and Richard Woods, purchased 70 percent of all outstanding shares of the Bloomington-based DTLL.
The company also announced a restructuring of its executive management staff. Dual B. Cooper Jr. will take over responsibilities as the company's president and CEO. The former president, John Paulsen, will serve as DTLL's chairman.
DTLL also purchased a controlling interest in Grand Sierra Resort Corp. from Raleigh-based real estate development and investment company Angela Whichard Inc. It will assist the Reno, NV-based resort company in buying the Reno Hilton.
