Lisa Weltz Appointed Vice President of Marketing for Dream Catcher Greenwich Office
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO, June 29, 2005. Leading luxury destination club, Dream Catcher has appointed Lisa Weltz, of Harrison, N.Y., to the position of vice president of marketing.
A seasoned executive, Weltz brings more than 20 years of marketing expertise to Dream Catcher's management team. In her new role, Weltz will oversee the development of the company's marketing strategies worldwide and direct all related activities, including advertising, direct mail, sponsorships and public relations efforts, out of Dream Catcher's Greenwich, Conn. Office.

Prior to joining Dream Catcher, Weltz maintained a long, established career at New York based TIAA-CREF, a Fortune 100 national financial services organization with more than $340 billion in combined assets under its management. During her 19 years with TIAA-CREF, she held several senior management positions, including director of corporate public relations and sponsorships, vice president of enterprises group marketing, and national marketing manager. Most recently, Weltz served as the organization's senior director of strategy and business planning, for the corporate pubic affairs and marketing area.
As national marketing manager, Weltz broke all life insurance sales records in TIAA-CREF's 75-year history by increasing new business by 23 percent over prior year, generating more than $8 million in new premium income and more than $4.2 billion in face amount of life insurance issues. Under her management, new business increased by more than 10 percent each year.
A recognized leader in the field of marketing, Weltz has served as speaker at several national conferences for industry organizations such as the Direct Marketing Association and the National Center for Database Marketing.
She holds a MBA in finance from Fordham University and a BS in business management and marketing from Cornell University.
