Old Edwards Names Nancy DelBianco HR Director
HIGHLANDS, NC, April 5, 2006. Old Edwards Hospitality Group is pleased to announce that Nancy DelBianco has been named Human Resources Director for the property.
Her responsibilities will encompass recruiting, coordination of training programs and assurance of employee compliance with company policy. Counseling, training, development and monitoring of performance standards will also fall under her realm of responsibility.
With more than ten years experience in professional management and hospitality, DelBianco hails from the Belterra Casino Resort and Spa in Florence, Indiana where she was most recently the Employee Relations Manager. Prior to that she was a Training and Development Manager for the same company. With a strong knowledge of employment and employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, coaching, budgeting and guest services, DelBianco brings a solid background and commitment to excellence to her new position.
Before joining the Belterra Resort, DelBianco was the Learning Programs Manager at Amicus Financial in Falls Church, VA and Orlando, FL. She has also worked with the American Hotel & Lodging Association as a Director of Professional Development and with the Walt Disney World Disney Institute in Orlando as a Professional Business Programs Facilitator. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Ball State University and is a member of the American Society for Training and Development as well as a member of the Society for Human Resources Management. DelBianco also spent two years in the early 90's in the Fiji Islands, South Pacific with the US Peace Corps as a volunteer Small Business Advisor.
