Jay Rosenthal Appointed Executive Vice President Of The Harp Group
CHICAGO-(April 10, 2006)-Hotel veteran Jay Rosenthal has been appointed executive vice president for The Harp Group, a Chicago-based real estate investment and development company specializing in hospitality and retail projects. Rosenthal will be responsible for evaluating hotel acquisition opportunities including market and hotel assessment and due diligence as well as asset management for The Harp Group's hotel portfolio.
Previously, Rosenthal was the area managing director for Starwood Hotels & Resorts' W Hotels in Chicago. His hospitality career spans 30 years and includes key leadership positions with Promus Hotel Corporation, Doubletree Hotels Corporation, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Actively involved in the hospitality industry, Rosenthal has served on the boards of the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association and the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau. In addition, he was the 2005 in-coming chair for the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association.
Rosenthal earned a degree in hotel administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He resides in Chicago with his wife, Wendy, and their two children.
